PAC: An Efficient "Purification Guard" in the Water Treatment Field
Recently, as a widely used inorganic polymer coagulant, polyaluminium chloride (PAC) has been continuously playing an important role in water treatment and many industrial fields due to its excellent water purification performance, attracting industry attention.
In terms of application, PAC can be found in municipal water treatment, printing and dyeing wastewater treatment, oily wastewater treatment, papermaking wastewater treatment and other fields. In municipal water treatment, when used in combination with polyacrylamide (PAM), it can make the COD removal rate of urban sewage treatment plants reach 70%-90%; when dealing with printing and dyeing wastewater, the dosage is about 100-300kg per 1,000 tons, which can effectively decolorize and remove heavy metals.
With the aggravation of global water shortage and water pollution problems, and the increasingly strict environmental protection policies, the market demand for PAC is constantly rising. The industry is developing towards the direction of high efficiency and low residue. Enterprises are optimizing production processes through technological innovation, aiming to further improve product performance, reduce costs, and cope with market challenges and opportunities.
