The blue fiber ball is a high-efficiency filtration material, which is widely used in the filtration systems of swimming pools, filter tanks and other facilities. Made of modified polyester fibers, its surface is treated with a special process to form a dense interwoven network of fiber filaments, with a porosity of over 99%. It can effectively capture suspended particles sized 5–10 microns, and the turbidity of the filtered water can be controlled below 0.5 NTU.

The blue fiber ball achieves high-efficiency purification through deep filtration. During operation, its fiber filaments swing with the water flow to form a dynamic filtration layer, which not only traps tiny impurities but also boasts strong adsorption capacity. Thanks to the elasticity of the fiber material, the fiber balls can fully expand during backwashing, resulting in a dirt stripping rate of up to 98% and saving more than 30% of backwash water compared with traditional filter media. In addition, the blue appearance not only serves as a visual identifier, but also helps judge the degree of contamination through color changes. Some products are added with antibacterial components to inhibit algae growth.
